DSS Directors Urge 6 Governors to Distribute Relief Supplies 

In a proactive measure, DSS directors from six states - Yobe, Adamawa, Taraba, Gombe, Bauchi, and Borno - have cautioned their respective state governors on the importance of distributing relief materials to their citizens.  

The state security agency emphasized that adequate distribution would bolster security and stability in the north-east region. This statement was shared in a memorandum handed over to Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State following their strategic meeting in Maiduguri.  

Maiduguri witnessed the gathering of these directors from the Department of State Services in a vital discussion about the ongoing challenges in the region, as reported by Channels Television. 

Their focus was on the critical role of intelligence in countering threats and improving security.  

Highlighting the Significance:  

In Maiduguri, these security chiefs underscored the value of proper relief material distribution as a tool to reinforce security in the terror-affected areas. 

Concluding their deliberation, the team, under the guidance of Chairman Abdullahi Hussani, met Governor Zulum to present their findings. 

The governor, who also leads the North-East Governors' Forum, showed gratitude for their insights, assuring collaboration with fellow governors to restore peace to the North-East.
